Quarantine Date Nights!

Here are some fun and relatively easy things to do at home with your spouse/partner that Chris and I have really enjoyed during this quarantine! Can do this in your evenings and weekends if you're still working like me or space them out during the day! (I also understand that if you have kids this poses different challenges.)

Drive somewhere with a pretty view and sit in the back of the car with it open or on the trunk with yummy take out food or a packed picnic.

Roast hot dogs/s'mores on your porch (or even on the stove/oven) and go tent camping in the living room! Added bonus - put white Christmas lights over the tent for stars and watch an "outdoorsy" movie (we watched Jurassic Park hehe).

Dress up fancy, put out a tablecloth and candles, and have a nice meal at home.

Drive around doing random acts of kindness in a safe and sanitary and socially distant appropriate way (door drops of boxes of donuts, for example).

Game nights with friends! There's Code Names online, Houseparty app has games, Jackbox games + zoom...

The key for us to make something feel special is having it be planned and intentional.
